The WUP Grower Listserv is a space to connect those growing or supporting those who grow food with and for our communities. It is a place for civil, open-minded discussion and resource-sharing. Share articles and videos. Ask questions. Offer or ask for assistance. All topics must somehow be directly related to food, agriculture, gardening, foraging, or fishing in our communities. We entrust members of the list to participate in a welcoming, respectful spirit and abide by our listserv guidelines.
Listserve guidelines:
Be welcoming. Remember that we have all levels of experience and many different systems of knowledge and belief within our regional food system. Diversity is a strength!
Remain civil and constructive. References to agriculture policy and politicians are allowed as long as the discussion is respectful. Abusive or inflammatory language will not be tolerated.
Keep topics related to food, agriculture, gardening, foraging, or fishing in our communities.
The list is not moderated. We expect all users to be respectful of the guidelines. However, members of the Western UP Food Systems Collaborative planning team do monitor the discussions and maintain the list, and will reach out to those straying from our guidelines or remove those who do not respect the spirit of the listserv.
