Local Food Fest 2019 - Marquette, MI

Taste the Local Difference is excited to present the MQT Local Food Fest, a farm-to-table celebration, honoring and connecting all links of the Upper Peninsula’s local food system, from farmers to eaters and everyone in-between.

The event will feature a Farmer's Harvest Basket Competition, local offering silent auction baskets, interactive trivia and most importantly the 3nd Annual NMU Alumni Culinary Competition, where all guests will help choose the chef who will take home the coveted Traveling Pineapple Trophy!

Ticket sales from our event goes right back to great organizations like Partridge Creek Farm who helps with Farm-to-School programs and urban food access, the Downtown Marquette Farmers Market's Power of Produce Program and most importantly goes right back into the pockets of the local producers who we've historically purchased over 80% of our ingredients from!

Tickets go on sale June 1st and are $25 if purchased before October 1st. Price goes to $35 in October. The cost includes entrance into the event, lots of free food, a swag bag for every attendee, kids activities room access, local goods silent auction and a chance a few great door prizes.

This year we are doing all we can to make our event as green as ever, from the ingredients to our practices and activities!
